(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - As the whole Islamic world is celebrating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai has launched a special week-long program for the blessed occasion.
Hamada Al Shaibani, director-general of the department, said series of lectures are to be given in the mosques of Dubai this week on the great biography of the Holy Prophet.
“The life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) shall always remain a major source for righteousness, guidance and happiness in life and the hereafter.” Mohammed Al Muhairi, head of Counseling and Preaching Section, said as many as 513 lectures are to be delivered by popular scholars at the mosques of heavily populated areas on the ethics of Holy Prophet.
Egyptian Islamic researcher Dr Sheikh Mohammed Ashmawy said that the Sunni Muslims around the world celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on Rabi Al Awwal 12.
